By visiting our facility, booking services, calling / texting us, or using our website, you agree to these Terms & Conditions (“Terms”). If any part is unclear, please call (469) 450-7040.
1) Eligibility & Pet Requirements
Age limits (boarding / daycare): minimum 16 weeks; maximum 11 years.
Spay / Neuter: required for dogs over 8 months.
Vaccinations (required)
Rabies (1- or 3-year)
DHPP (Parvo/Distemper) (1- or 3-year)
Bordetella (every 6 months or yearly)
Dogs must be flea / tick-free. If parasites are found, treatment will be provided at the Owner’s expense.
Missing vaccinations at check-in → $50 fee + cost of vet-administered vaccinations.
2) Breed Limitations
We cannot accept the following breeds: Pit Bull, Staffordshire Terrier, American Bulldog, Cane Corso, Dogo Argentino, Wolf-Hybrid, Mastiff breeds.

3) Hours, Tours & Daily Operations
Daycare Mon–Fri 7 AM – 7 PM Sat 8 AM – 5 PM
Tours Mon–Sat 1 PM – 5 PM
Boarding Drop-off/Pick-up Drop-off during business hours (pre-5 PM preferred). Pick-ups after 12 PM = ½-day daycare charge.
4) Health Limitations & Exclusions
We cannot board dogs with: diabetes, seizures, Cushing’s/Addison’s Disease, heart disease, incomplete puppy series, post-surgery recovery, bandages in place, or major autoimmune disorders. Veterinary boarding is recommended for these conditions.
5) Food, Medications & Belongings
Feedings for multiple dogs are separated upon request. You may bring machine-washable bedding. We cannot guarantee return of personal items.
6) Age for Daycare
Minimum 4 months old.
7) Long-Term Boarding
Available with restrictions — call for details.
8) Packages, Vouchers & Gift Certificates
May be shared between dogs of the same family. Packages apply to full days only and cannot be split.
9) Abandoned Dogs
Dogs not picked up within 7 days of the scheduled checkout date and for whom contact and payment cannot be secured will be treated as abandoned and placed through rescue consistent with Texas law.

Holiday Surcharge: $5 on Easter Sun, Memorial Day wknd, July 3–4, Labor Day wknd, Thanksgiving Eve & Day, Christmas Eve & Day, New Year’s Eve & Day.
11) Communication Consent (Calls & Texts / SMS Program Terms)
By providing your mobile number or texting us, you consent to receive SMS/MMS from Barney’s Ranch regarding reservations, reminders, updates, and occasional promotions.
Message frequency varies.
Message and data rates may apply.
To opt out at any time, reply STOP; to opt back in, reply START.

SMS consent is not a condition of purchase.
SMS consent is not shared with third parties or affiliates.
We maintain opt-in and opt-out records for compliance purposes for at least four (4) years.
Opting out of promotional texts does not affect essential service messages about your pet’s stay.
12) Risk Acknowledgment, Release & Indemnification
Animal care and group play involve inherent risks. By using our services, you assume the risk of illness, injury, or loss related to your pet’s participation. To the fullest extent permitted by Texas law, you release Barney’s Ranch, its owners, employees, and agents from claims arising from ordinary negligence. This release does not waive liability for gross negligence or intentional misconduct.
You agree to indemnify and hold Barney’s Ranch harmless from third-party claims for damage or injury caused by your dog, except to the extent caused by our gross negligence or willful misconduct.
13) Website Terms of Use
Content & IP: All content is owned by or licensed to Barney’s Ranch. Do not copy or redistribute without permission.
Acceptable Use: No unauthorized access or disruption.
Third-Party Links: External sites are not controlled by us.
No Warranties / Limitation of Liability: Site provided “as is.” We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages.
14) Changes to Policies
We may update these Terms periodically. Material changes will be posted with a new Effective Date. Continuing to use our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance.
15) Governing Law, Severability & Entire Agreement
These Terms are governed by Texas law. If any provision is invalid, the rest remain effective. These Terms constitute the entire agreement for Barney’s Ranch boarding and daycare services.
